Daily Rate: £90-£110 per day
About the Role
An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team from 24th November. You'll be working closely with pupils in Key Stage 2, providing one-to-one and small group support for children with additional learning needs, including Autism and Speech and Language difficulties.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in children's learning experiences, helping every pupil reach their full potential in a nurturing school community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning activities.
Use strategies to support communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to learning plans.
Encourage independence and confidence within the classroom.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a support role within a school.
Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and learning differences.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Patient, calm, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
A passion for inclusive education and helping children succeed.
