Salary: £48,000–£54,000
⚠️ Previous School Business Management Experience Essential
A successful primary school in Enfield is looking for an experienced School Business Manager to take responsibility for the school's financial, administrative and operational functions.
This is a key role working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the school is financially secure, well organised and able to provide an excellent environment for pupils and staff.
The Role
Managing the school's annual budget and financial planning
Monitoring expenditure, income and purchasing
Overseeing HR and payroll processes
Managing contracts and supplier relationships
Leading the administration and support staff
Overseeing premises, facilities and health & safety
Managing compliance, risk and insurance
Supporting governors with financial reporting
Coordinating audits and statutory returns
Ensuring school policies and procedures remain up to date
About You
You'll have previous School Business Manager or senior school finance/operations experience, with strong knowledge of school finance and excellent organisational skills.
Experience with FMS, PS Financials, Arbor, SIMS or similar systems would be advantageous.
