The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a fast-growing company operating within the financial technology (FinTech) and investment management solutions industry . The organisation provides technology and services that support institutional asset managers, hedge funds, and other financial institutions in managing and analysing their investment operations.

Based in London, this role plays a key part in driving new business growth by identifying and engaging prospective clients, generating qualified leads, and supporting the early stages of the enterprise sales cycle.

You will work closely with experienced sales professionals and industry experts while developing your career in enterprise technology sales within the financial services sector .

Key Responsibilities
    • Develop and execute outreach strategies to generate new business opportunities
    • Research and identify target personas within institutional asset managers, hedge funds, and other financial organisations
    • Initiate contact with prospective clients through personalised emails, cold calling, social media outreach, and direct mail
    • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings with senior decision-makers
    • Achieve or exceed targets for sales qualified leads (SQLs) and sales accepted leads (SALs)
    • Ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities to the sales team
    • Build relationships with prospects to understand their business challenges and assess potential fit
    • Develop knowledge of investment operations technology, industry trends, and competitor solutions
    • Share relevant resources such as whitepapers, insights, and industry content to educate prospects
    • Collaborate closely with assigned Sales Representatives to ensure alignment and success
Requirements
    • 3+ years’ experience in sales development, lead generation, or a sales role
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
    • Fluent in either French or German
    • Strong interest in building a career in enterprise sales
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed targets
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels of management
    • Self-motivated, high-energy, and collaborative mindset
    • Strong work ethic and results-driven approach
    • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is advantageous
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
