Nanny

Full time Nanny – January 2027 start– B1 – London SW15
Mon - Fri 9am-6:30pm (47.5hpw)

An amazing opportunity with a late morning start to work with lovely first-time Aussie parents who are seeking their first nanny to join them in January and care for their delightfully smiley, curious, energetic and on the move little boy, who will be 1 year old when the role begins.
They are looking for a warm, experienced nanny who will help their son thrive, fill his days with joy, and gently support him through the next stages of his development. He currently enjoys many activities including various classes - swimming, gymnastics and playdates. The parents are respectful, collaborative, and truly value a nanny’s expertise and knowledge in childcare. They had a maternity nurse for the early months.

One parent will work from home on another floor of the house. This is very much a sole-charge position.

RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Planning and engaging in fun, age-appropriate, educational activities and taking B1 to activities and classes already established.
• Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the child (and ideally dinner for the parents too, can be same meal but modified for the child).
• All nursery duties including child’s laundry and child-related household tasks and keeping areas used tidy.
• Providing attentive, developmentally focused care.
• Keeping on top of the child’s wardrobe and essentials, and advising on suitable products when needed.
• Supporting an established routine.

The IDEAL NANNY:
• Bubbly, energetic, and warm
• A self-starter who takes initiative
• 5+ years’ professional nanny experience
• Confident cook with a good understanding of childhood nutrition
• Genuine passion for childcare and child development
• Collaborative, communicative, and happy to muck in
• Holds the right to work in the UK
• Located within an easy commute
• Occasional flexibility required
• Native English speaker for language development.
• On top of hygiene and cleanliness.

MUST HAVE: relevant childcare qualifications and experience for this age group, DBS, First Aid, updated CV and checkable references (written and verbal). *candidates without these will not be considered..
MUST BE available to interview and trial in October.

SCHEDULE:
• Mon-Fri 9AM-6:30PM
• Minimum 1-year commitment but looking long term.
• Holidays will be 2 weeks parents choice and 2 weeks nanny’s choice to be discussed and planned in advance.
• Flexibility to the possibility of minimal travel.

The nanny will also be offered first refusal on any additional babysitting opportunities (paid extra).
Driving is not currently required, as everything is within walking distance.

COMPENSATION:
Competitive Salary dependent on experience — to be considered, please state your ANNUAL GROSS salary expectations upon application.
