Revenue Controller - London Law Firm - Southbank - Perm

A highly successful London law firm is seeking to hire a Revenue Controller.

Reporting into the Revenue Manager, this role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit OR Revenue Controller to apply their skills in a dynamic legal environment, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the firm’s financial success.

The Revenue Controller role

As Revenue Controller you will ensure that WIP is billed in a timely manner and monies owed to the Firm are collected promptly to maximise the firm’s cashflow for your allocated practice areas.

This is a people-facing role, the primary focus will be meeting with Partners and working with them to manage their aged WIP and collect debt. You will be expected to be visible in the business and build relationships within the business areas you support by helping them integrate effective revenue control processes into their daily working.

• Analyse client matters to assess WIP and aged debt status
• Engage directly with Partners in person on a regular basis regarding WIP and aged debt targets
• Update 3e and ARCS systems with all relevant activity
• Preparation of monthly statements to clients;
• Build rapport and directly liaise with key clients regarding bill settlements
• In instances where outstanding debts go beyond agreed SLAs, manage proceedings using an external debt collection firm
• Review funds held on client account where there are outstanding bills

Skills & Requirements

• Current experience of working in a credit, revenue or billing focussed position in a London law firm
• Extensive awareness of the full legal revenue cycle in a law firm including a strong working knowledge of SARs and AML
• Experience of 3E and ARCS is desirable
• First class customer service skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
