  • Establish and manage network SLAs, SLOs, performance metrics, and incident response processes
  • Drive automation across network provisioning, configuration management, and compliance
  • Promote Infrastructure-as-Code and standardisation of network configurations across environments
  • Partner with Security teams to enforce network segmentation, access controls, and secure design principles
  • Collaborate with Application, Workplace Technology, and Architecture teams on connectivity and integration requirements
  • Lead and mentor network engineers across regions, setting standards and best practices
  • Manage vendor relationships, including network hardware, telecom providers, and service partners
  • Oversee capacity planning, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of network platforms

Your Present Skillset

  • 10+ years’ experience in network engineering, including leadership responsibility in enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies (routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with WAN technologies, including MPLS, SD-WAN, and internet-based architectures
  • Hands-on knowledge of data centre and campus network design (e.g., spine-leaf, high availability architectures)
  • Experience with network security principles (segmentation, firewalls, VPNs, zero trust concepts)
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP connectivity and hybrid network design)
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform) applied to network infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of network monitoring, observability, and performance optimisation tools
  • Proven experience operating global network environments with high availability requirements
  • Experience working within regulated or controlled environments
  • Ability to lead distributed teams and drive network transformation initiatives
  • Structured, risk-aware approach to decision-making with strong ownership
  • Clear communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
