Role Overview:
The Project Liaison Manager will oversee and manage building services projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, logs, and reports.
Supervise all on-site activities to ensure they align with project plans and specifications.
Monitor the work of subcontractors and ensure adherence to agreed timelines and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on-site.
Conduct safety briefings and ensure all team members comply with safety regulations.
Address any health and safety concerns immediately and report incidents to the Project Manager.
Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality.
Perform regular quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Resolve any quality issues that arise during the construction process.
Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and escalate any issues as needed.
Facilitate coordination meetings and ensure all parties are informed of project progress.
Oversee the procurement and management of materials and equipment.
Ensure efficient use of resources and minimize wastage.
Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials on-site.
Identify potential issues and risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve any problems that arise during the construction phase.
Implement solutions to keep the project on track.
Requirements:
Good basic education, including English & Maths to GCSE standard
City & Guilds within Electrical or Mechanical capacity
