Care Assistant - Haringey

Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
Pay Rate: £12.71 - £16.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: 12-hour days and night shifts
Minimum Commitment: 24 hours per week
A compassionate, reliable, and experienced Personal Care Assistant is required to support a gentleman in his late 70s who lives with his family in Islington .
The gentleman has complex care needs and requires support in his own home. He is non-verbal , uses a BiPAP machine for sleep apnoea , has a tracheostomy , and experiences left-sided paralysis . The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care to ensure his comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
Assisting with mobility, positioning, and transfers
Supporting tracheostomy care and respiratory needs
Monitoring and assisting with BiPAP therapy as required
Communicating effectively using non-verbal methods
Working closely with the family and healthcare professionals
