Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Do you currently hold active UK Security Clearance, or are you eligible to obtain it (British-born, UK Resident due to clearance required)?
Do you have previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in Building Services?


The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s London Building Services team and play a pivotal role in classified building projects within the Defence sector, as well as selected commercial and mission critical projects.


Your duties and responsibilities will be
Lead electrical design across Defence, Mission Critical, and commercial projects
Collaborate with PMs, Architects, QSs, Structural Engineers, and specialists
Deliver innovative, sustainable, technically excellent solutions to exacting Defence standards
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven track record as an Electrical Design Engineer in building services, ideally within consultancy or a design-focused contractor role.
Strong experience in delivering projects from concept through to completion.
Excellent technical, organisational, and communication skills.
Active Security Clearance or full eligibility to obtain it.
It’s great if you also have the following
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams on secure or classified projects
A consultancy background, or contractor experience in a design-oriented role
A strong interest in sustainable, innovative design solutions
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in both office and site-based environments
