A community secondary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a Finance Assistant to support its busy finance office from January 2026.
The Role
This role involves supporting daily finance administration including invoice processing, data entry, purchase order tracking, supplier communication and maintaining accurate financial records. The Finance Assistant will work closely with the Finance Officer and School Business Manager to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations.
The School
The school educates around 1,300 pupils and is known for its strong pastoral care, inclusive ethos and well-embedded operational systems. The finance function is central to the running of the school and operates using clear processes and modern financial software.
