Sales Manager
Due to extensive growth, Fusion Consulting Group is looking to recruit a Sales Manager who will be based out of head office in Finchley, North London.
The group has several subsidiaries ranging from Tax, Accounting, Legal, Financial Services and Executive Recruitment.
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team at FCG, a leading professional services firm. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, managing pipeline and reporting and leading the team of sales professionals and advisors to meet and exceed revenue targets.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the professional services industry, and strong leadership skills. This role reports to the Directors.
The role is best suited to a “player manager” and will be split 25% sales management and 75% own business development.
Responsibilities
Lead from the front, engaging in direct sales, including prospecting, partnerships, lead nurturing, and closing deals.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across all service lines.
Set and monitor sales targets, providing regular coaching and performance feedback.
Collaborate with leadership and Line of Business (LOB) owners to refine lead generation, deal strategy, and pricing.
Develop and implement best practices for sales processes to improve efficiency and results.
Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and revenue tracking to ensure steady growth.
Manage the CRM (MS Dynamics), ensuring accurate pipeline tracking and reporting.
Manage daily operations of the sales team, ensuring accountability and execution.
Recruit, onboard, and train new sales professionals, equipping them with necessary skills.
Oversee prospecting efforts and data acquisition processes.
Continuously improve and streamline sales, marketing, and revenue processes for efficiency.
Work with management on pricing strategies and structuring larger strategic bids/proposals.
Identify and develop partnerships to expand market reach and drive revenue.
Run deal clinics and work with Advisors to drive monthly revenue targets.
Continuously track and analyse key sales metrics to optimize team performance.
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales leadership role offering similar services
Strong understanding of the professional services industry and its business development needs
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue and business growth
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build strong client relationships and effectively manage complex sales cycles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Experience with CRM software (e.g., MS Dynamics) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
A self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and a passion for achieving targets
