Your Impact

Joining Bolt6 at this early stage of growth provides a unique opportunity to work alongside and learn from a team that has already built a successful sports technology business (winning 3 Emmys along the way).

As we expand into golf technology , you will play a key role in developing, testing, and deploying systems used at elite tournaments and major golf events around the world - helping enhance how the game is played, analysed, and experienced.

We take new ideas seriously, no matter where they come from in the company.

Role Requirements

We’re searching for motivated, proactive individuals with a passion for both technology and golf - people who thrive in high-pressure environments and maintain exceptional standards while delivering innovative solutions to sporting federations, broadcasters, and tours.

What You Will Do as an Operations Engineer (Golf)

  • Operate Bolt6 golf technology for major golf tours, federations, and broadcasters around the world.
  • Travel internationally to deliver our products on-site at LIV tournaments, ensuring reliable setup, operation, and breakdown.
  • Work remotely to support other sporting events that do not require on-site presence.
  • Lead live testing with customers , including player tracking, swing analysis, and video synchronization tests at courses and driving ranges.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real time during live coverage or data collection.
  • Provide feedback to improve tracking algorithms, calibration tools, and event workflows.
  • Support large-scale deployments by:
    • Assisting with equipment design and logistics (e.g. camera rigs across fairways or greens);
    • Testing and documenting new software releases;
    • Managing kit shipping, inventory, and scheduling;
    • Collaborating with engineers and operations staff to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Contribute to new product development , such as:
    • Creating tools for automated swing data capture or live leaderboard integration;
    • Working with software teams to develop real-time visual overlays for golf broadcasts.

What We Are Looking For

Required Attributes:

  • Self-starter with initiative; able to manage projects independently.
  • Confident decision-maker in dynamic, live-event environments.
  • Intellectually curious, with a strong technical problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - especially when working with broadcast teams, officials, or golf event staff.
  • Flexible working attitude (including travel, weekends, and varying schedules).
  • Highly organized and calm under pressure.

Nice to Have:

  • A genuine love of golf and understanding of the sport’s rules and structure.
  • Experience in live event operations , broadcast , or sports analytics .
  • Project management experience or relevant certifications.

Benefits

Most Important: Your Career

  • Tailored learning and development support.
  • Clear career progression within a fast-growing start-up.
  • Exposure to global golf events and international technology deployments.
  • A culture that values creativity, ownership, and integrity.

  • Bonus scheme.
  • Flexible hours and fully remote-friendly.
  • Opportunity to travel to major golf tournaments worldwide and work with top-tier organisations in the sport.
