We’re seeking a Production Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations for live and recorded productions from our facilities. Responsibilities

• Act as the operational lead for productions based in Chiswick, representing Production Operations in meetings and serving as key liaison with Production Management.
• Ensure production information, event requirements, and operational updates are clearly shared with relevant departments.
• Collaborate closely with Production Resource, MCR, London Bookings, Engineering, and other operational teams to ensure event details are accurate and distributed promptly.
• Support planning and delivery of gallery positions, studio rigs, production setups, and associated production requirements.
• Verify resource allocation documents and systems to ensure production needs are appropriately covered and booked correctly.
• Review centralized booking systems to confirm accurate resource allocation, Technical Operator bookings, and FACS testing requirements.
• Maintain an active presence in live productions, supporting escalation, feedback, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate studio maintenance scheduling, ensuring work aligns with production requirements and communicated to stakeholders.
• Ensure all studio maintenance, production activity, and operational deliveries meet Risk Assessment and Health & Safety standards.
• Coordinate allocation, bookings, and upkeep of green rooms, makeup rooms, and other production support spaces.
• Support maintenance of service facilities, ensuring shared information areas stay updated with current policies and guidance.
• Identify and flag operational or facility risks early, ensuring appropriate action to protect live output.
• Assist with production confirmations, tracking call-time changes, and overtime requirements as needed.
• Maintain budget and cost tracking documentation accurately, recording changes and approvals.
• Support coordination of freelance bookings, availability, confirmations, and operational updates to ensure teams receive clear documentation and production information.
• Support Production Operations Manager with documentation and distribution of new workflows, system integrations, and technical facility updates.
• Assist with rollout of operational process changes, ensuring teams understand new systems, expectations, and responsibilities.
• Provide structured goals and development plans to support growth within the organization for the Production Operations Coordinator .

Requirements

• Experience working in live broadcast, studio production, or production operations environments.
• Strong understanding of PCR, studio, and live production workflows.
• Experience supporting live sport or fast-paced multi-production environments (desirable).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with confidence to escalate issues appropriately.
• Working knowledge of scheduling systems, production booking, and resource allocation workflows.
• Understanding of Risk Assessments, Health & Safety requirements, and safe production practices.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and build effective relationships.
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach to live production support.

Working Conditions

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will take place at the place of work .
