Paid Media Analyst (PPC)

The Opportunity:
This great agency is looking for a Paid Media Executive to work in conjunction with its Head of Paid Media to help manage our clients’ PPC accounts, delivering outstanding results within the clients’ allocated time.
The successful candidate will be energetic and passionate about digital marketing, with an interest in PPC or desire to learn about PPC. The individual will have an analytical mindset and feel comfortable in numbers.
As a key member of a dynamic and growing business, you will be happy working autonomously but also be able to think on your feet and adapt accordingly to the needs of the role at any given time.
The role reports directly to the Head of Paid Media and will manage the delivery team, whilst also working alongside developers and our designer.
The role will involve account management across our key clients :
- Manage, build, and grow our key paid media accounts:
- Plan, create and build new paid media accounts, including campaign structure, keyword research and ad copywriting
- Manage campaign budgets efficiently and diligently, working towards KPIs
- Experience using tools such as Google Analytics to analyse data
- Work with our Development team to ensure conversions are accurately tracked, using Google Tag Manager
- Conduct A/B experiments to optimise campaign performance; including planning, launching and reporting/analysis
- Work with clients to ensure landing pages are effectively optimised to ensure maximum conversion
- Working to defined KPIs, ensuring each campaign is continually optimised, seeking and implementing new growth opportunities and strategies to maximise the clients’ earning potential
- Deliver projects against agreed timelines, often working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Create month end reports, analysing month on month and year on year data, and providing insight into the success factors and areas for improvement
- Build strong client relationships. Develop a good understanding of each client’s business and objectives
- Analysing large data sets and interpreting data for clients
About You:
- Ideally some experience managing paid media campaigns, specifically Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, or experience in a digital marketing role, at the very minimum a strong understanding of the principalities of PPC.
- You’re inquisitive and enthusiastic to learn more
- Have a passion and interest in digital marketing
- You’ll question the status quo and evaluate service improvements offering recommendations for improvement
- A sound understanding of digital marketing and marketing concepts
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to take complex marketing metrics and turn them into simple explanations
- Experience working with reporting tools, such as Data Studio or similar
- A preference for high quality work and good attention to detail
- Professional attitude, excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously
- Ability to efficiently plan and manage tasks
- Ideally, good knowledge and proficiency using Google, Microsoft and Facebook advertising platforms
- Well versed in developing account strategies, conducting analysis and managing varying budgets across different platforms and clients
- A good understanding of campaign targeting, remarketing and attribution. You understand audience segmentation and how they are used in advertising
Bonus skills:
- Additional PPC platform experience –Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook Ads
- Proven client-facing experience to communicate performance and build relationships
- Experience running property or professional services marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of the complete digital marketing mix, particularly SEO and Social Media
