Graduate Outcomes Manager
Location: London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA)
Role Summary
This is a strategic role at the heart of LCCA’s student success and regulatory agenda. You will play a critical part in shaping how the institution supports final year students, strengthens graduate progression and protects performance against Office for Students Condition B3.
Working collaboratively across Registry, Academic Services, Careers and Employability, data teams at UCA, and external partners, you will influence practice, culture and decision making to deliver meaningful improvement in graduate outcomes.
As Graduate Outcomes Manager, you will lead LCCA’s institutional strategy and operational delivery for graduate outcomes data and performance. You will act as the institutional lead for the HESA Graduate Outcomes Survey, with responsibility for improving response rates, ensuring data quality and translating insight into targeted academic and employability interventions.
You will have a visible presence with Level 6 students, supporting their transition into employment or further study and embedding a culture of confidence, engagement and outcomes awareness. You will produce high quality insight for senior leadership, contribute to B3 planning and ensure that the student journey is aligned with successful graduate progression and institutional reputation.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Graduate Outcomes and Regulatory Performance
Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of the Graduate Outcomes Survey and associated data cycles.
Oversee validation of graduate submissions, ensuring compliance, accuracy and GDPR assurance.
Monitor response rates and outcomes trends, producing clear reporting to inform senior leadership and B3 decision making.
Use labour market intelligence, sector data and institutional insight to shape improvement strategies.
Work closely with UCA data and reporting teams to align dashboards, risk indicators, trend analysis and institutional insight.
Level 6 Student and Graduate Engagement
Design and coordinate final year engagement programmes focused on confidence, transition readiness and self efficacy.
Deliver workshops, clinics, targeted interventions and individual coaching to support students in articulating ambition, skills and career pathways.
Embed awareness of the Graduate Outcomes Survey across key student touchpoints including final assessments, graduation and post course communications.
Promote early careers and graduate support to improve progression, sustainability and first destination outcomes.
Insight and Intervention Design
Produce segmented insight reports for academic schools, senior leadership and governance groups.
Identify at risk cohorts and work collaboratively to design targeted employability and outcomes interventions.
Partner with Careers and Employability colleagues to embed evidence led delivery models that strengthen B3 performance.
Partnership, Influence and Collaboration
Chair the Graduate Outcomes Insight Group, ensuring alignment across Registry, Careers, Marketing, Academic teams and Data Services.
Build understanding and adoption of outcomes insight across the institution.
Represent LCCA within relevant sector networks and regulatory forums where appropriate.
Evaluation and Continuous Development
Produce performance dashboards, evaluative reports and recommendations to inform institutional learning.
Maintain up to date knowledge of policy and regulatory developments relating to graduate outcomes and data governance.
Contribute to graduation activities and occasional evening events as required.
Essential
A degree or equivalent professional experience
Postgraduate qualification or study is desirable.
Strong data literacy with the ability to analyse, interpret and present insight clearly.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to coach students and design targeted work readiness and transition support.
Proven experience in graduate outcomes, careers, employability or institutional data reporting.
Experience of designing and delivering engagement or performance improvement campaigns.
Experience of working with survey cycles, data submissions or institutional outcomes datasets.
