About the role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Mac Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for macOS systems, Apple hardware, and related software applications. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless IT operations for our Mac users across 10x Banking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full Tier support for macOS desktops, laptops, and Apple peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Mac systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain macOS, applications, and system updates.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles using tools like Jamf, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365 or similar.
  • Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including device setup, shipping and recovery.
  • Document technical procedures, solutions, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams
  • Maintain inventory of Apple hardware and software licenses.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.

Requirements

Ideally you will have...

  • Proven experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role with a focus on macOS.
  • Strong knowledge of macOS, Apple hardware, and common Mac applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Familiarity with MDM tools such as Jamf Pro, Intune.
  • Jamf certification
  • Previous experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Slack administration experience
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Physical ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

Desirable skills...

  • Experience administrating Microsoft 365 platforms (e.g., Teams, Exchange, Sharepoint and Power Apps)
  • Experience in a mixed OS environment (macOS and Windows).
  • Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python) for automation tasks
