A fast-growing organisation is seeking a People Operations Advisor to join its newly established People Operations function. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering an excellent employee experience and driving operational excellence across all stages of the employee journey.

The People Operations Advisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring that employee processes are seamless, accurate, and scalable. From onboarding and payroll support to immigration and compliance, this is a hands-on position with the chance to make a real impact. The role also offers exposure to wider people initiatives, including workforce planning, employee engagement, and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, providing guidance and escalating more complex issues when necessary.
  • Manage onboarding processes to deliver a seamless new joiner experience, ensuring compliance checks are completed on time.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS, supporting audits and reporting needs.
  • Prepare and submit payroll inputs, working closely with People and Finance teams to resolve queries.
  • Support compliance processes, audits, and policy updates to ensure the business remains aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive improvements in people systems and processes, enhancing efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Build and maintain reporting capabilities, enabling valuable insights for managers and the People team.
  • Provide support with immigration, sponsorship duties, and global workforce mobility processes.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in a people advisory role, ideally with exposure to employee relations matters.
  • Strong HRIS skills (experience with HiBob is an advantage) and confidence in handling employee data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine interest in systems and process improvement.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of activity.
  • A detail-oriented approach when handling data, reporting, or administrative processes.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with employee information.
  • Any experience with international HR operations (e.g. Ireland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands) is a plus.

Why Join

  • Be part of a growing People Operations function, shaping how the business manages data and the employee journey.
  • Gain hands-on experience across a wide range of People Operations areas, including payroll, compliance, systems, and immigration.
  • Contribute to exciting projects such as workforce planning, engagement initiatives, and new system implementations.
  • Develop your career in a supportive, collaborative, and fast-paced environment where your ideas and contributions will have real impact.
