Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Implementation Consultant to join our high profile client.
Our client is a well-known leading provider of integrated risk, analytics and trading solutions for the global financial markets. Their clients include some of the largest global financial institutions and banks, leading hedge funds, pension funds, insurers, brokers, clearing members and corporates.
You will be part a team building cutting-edge applications and services supporting cross-asset trading and risk management. The successful candidate will have a passion for software development or implementation and the desire to constantly improve both their skills and the solutions they work on.
Day to day the Implementation Consultant will:
You will be responsible for running your own projects as well as working closely with presales.
Client specific development, which includes data interfaces, workflows and custom features
Define and execute system test plans to ensure client requirements are met
Business consultancy, gathering Client requirements and translating these into development docs, as part of implementation and upgrade projects
Support for end users to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
Train end users on the technical configuration and features of the system
Maintain strong working relationships with clients
Implementation Consultants must have:
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline
• Experience with programming/languages (C#, C++, Python)
• Experience writing code outside of degree, preferably in a commercial enterprise
• Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and under direction
