Technical Services Manager (Ref: 007010)
The Opportunity
We are supporting the appointment of an experienced Technical Services Manager to join a high-quality commercial office environment in Central London.
This is a key technical role within a modern, multi-let estate, where you will act as the dedicated engineering lead for building services, supporting operational delivery while also driving performance, compliance, and long-term asset improvement.
The position is suited to someone who enjoys working in a hands-on technical environment, while also contributing to broader initiatives around building optimisation, sustainability, and innovation in property operations.
You will work closely with site-based teams, service partners, and wider stakeholders to ensure building systems are performing effectively and evolving in line with best practice standards.
The Role
• Acting as the technical lead for MEP systems across the estate
• Supporting site teams with day-to-day engineering queries and escalations
• Driving building performance optimisation and lifecycle improvements
• Supporting ESG initiatives, including energy reduction and net zero alignment
• Assisting with the review and coordination of fit-out and project works
• Reviewing technical documentation and providing clear recommendations
• Supporting management of service partners, contractors, and consultants
• Monitoring and improving planned preventative maintenance (PPM) regimes
• Supporting compliance with statutory requirements and internal standards
• Reviewing contractor performance, including maintenance quality and reporting
• Supporting energy and utilities performance analysis
• Acting as escalation point for technical incidents and engineering issues
• Supporting small works, upgrades, and maintenance-related projects
• Contributing to asset lifecycle planning and forward maintenance strategy
• Supporting the introduction of smart building systems and digital monitoring tools

You will be based within a high-quality, multi-let commercial office environment in Central London, featuring a mix of modern building systems and active occupier engagement.
The role sits within a fast-paced operational setting where technical performance, service delivery, and continuous improvement are key priorities.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a technically strong and proactive individual with experience in building services within commercial property.
You will bring:
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar technical or engineering role
• Strong background in building services / MEP within commercial property
• Good understanding of HVAC systems and building operations
• Knowledge of health & safety and compliance frameworks
• Experience working with contractors, consultants, and service partners
• Strong problem-solving and technical analysis capability
• Ability to review technical information and provide clear recommendations
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Interest in building performance, sustainability, and innovation

Qualifications:
• Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
