Water Hygiene Engineer - Static

We’re looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team in Orpington. You’ll work across two nearby hospital sites, carrying out essential water hygiene services such as temperature testing and flushing. You’ll bring your existing knowledge and hands-on experience to the role, with opportunities to further develop your skills and progress your career in this vital sector.

What you receive for joining us:

We’re looking to offer a salary starting at £27,000 to £30,000 per annum. In addition, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to do your job well. You’ll get a company vehicle (which you can also use personally, within reason), along with all the essentials – uniform, PPE, a company phone, fuel card, and any tools required to do the role. On top of that, you’ll enjoy 25 days of annual leave, which increases with service, as well as bank holidays.

Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:

• Conduct water temperature testing, flushing, and sampling to ensure water systems remain safe, efficient, and compliant across various client sites.
• Carry out the cleaning and disinfection of showerheads following hygiene protocols to maintain high water quality standards.
• Perform TMV servicing, inspections, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with water hygiene requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date electronic records in line with L8 and HSG274 guidance to ensure full compliance.

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

• Proven background in water hygiene or a related field, with the ability to deliver a high standard of service.
• Comfortable working within a hospital setting on a local basis.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team, delivering reliable, professional service while adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Familiar with water hygiene practices such as temperature monitoring, sampling, and TMV maintenance.
