Role Information
The School Administrator will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across the school. This includes managing communications through email and phone, handling enquiries from parents and external agencies, maintaining student records, supporting admissions administration, monitoring attendance systems, updating databases (such as SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom), organising appointments, and preparing documents for meetings.
The role requires a highly organised individual who can multitask in a busy environment, prioritise work effectively, communicate professionally, and work as part of a friendly and efficient team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a school setting where no two days are the same and where problem-solving and initiative are highly valued.
Requirements
• Previous administrative experience, ideally within a school or public-sector setting
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office essential; MIS experience desirable)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support wider school needs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
