Teacher of Humanities (Maternity Cover)

We are looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Teacher of Humanities (Maternity Cover) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity allowing you to be at the heart of shaping the future success of the school. The role is ideally suited for an exceptional practitioner who is committed to inspiring the next generation of young people in fulfilling their aspirations.

A UK QTS is required for this role.

We are looking to appoint someone who:

• has imagination and is able to take the initiative in developing ideas.
• has highly developed inter-personal skills who can develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents.

In addition to these personal qualities, you will be:

• able to inspire and enthuse students, staff and the community.
• engaged in current issues, ideas and research around secondary education .
• passionate about the impact education can have on the lives of young people.
• a professional with drive, energy and determination.
• experienced in teaching Sociology and Psychology at KS4 & A Level
