Job Description
Full Time or Part-Time Bookkeeper for an Established Accountancy Practice
Your new company An established and growing accountancy practice with an impressive portfolio of clients.
Your new role You’ll be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. Your work will help ensure clients have accurate, timely financial information and feel supported throughout the year - not just at year-end.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submissions
- Assist with management accounts and financial reporting
- Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Support the wider team with ad-hoc accounting tasks
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and HMRC requirements
- Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicating with clients
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A supportive, collaborative team environment

- The role can be full-time or part-time.
