London (hybrid) To £55,000 + Benefits
The corporate tax team of this highly regarded independent practice deals with corporation tax compliance and advisory work for a variety of clients in a wide range of sectors. Compliance issues can range from those for large companies and groups such as corporate interest restriction rules, transfer pricing, CbC rules, SAO etc, to those applicable for many of the firm’s clients such as R&D, Capital Allowance claims and property transactions. In addition the team works on matters such as EIS/SEIS applications and administration, share scheme support and Non-Resident landlord returns for offshore companies. The team also works on a varied range of advisory projects for its corporate client base, covering matters such as reorganisations, demergers, transfer pricing, financing, cross border transactions etc.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of compliance cases, reporting directly either to a Director or Partner. This will include the preparation of tax computations and tax returns for clients, as well as accounts disclosures and deferred tax calculations where necessary. In addition this role will include research and provision of support on tax advisory matters for Partners, Directors and Senior Managers.
The team and the wider firm is extremely busy and they are particularly keen to talk to candidates who are looking for a rapid promotion to Assistant Manager.
You are likely to have 3+ years' corporate tax compliance experience. An accounts background will be useful and you will be self motivated and keen to provide a first class service to clients. Good communication skills are essential.
