A prestigious UK architecture practice, renowned for its innovative and sustainable approach to design, is seeking a Technical Architect with 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their Hotels Team. In this role, you’ll harness your technical expertise to develop detailed designs that meet the unique demands of hotel projects, ensuring seamless integration of functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. You’ll work closely with architects, designers, and external consultants, using your analytical skills to identify and resolve system design weaknesses, ensuring every project achieves its full potential. From concept development to construction, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes that enhance guest experiences and set industry benchmarks. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine technical designs using Revit for hotel projects.
- Apply proficiency in various technologies and architectural approaches to solve complex design challenges.
- Conduct detailed analysis to identify, assess, and address system design weaknesses.
- Collaborate with the Hotels Team to ensure designs meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to align technical deliverables with creative goals.
- Contribute to sustainable design solutions that reflect industry-leading standards.
- Support project documentation and compliance with UK building regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience in architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, with a track record of delivering technical designs.
- Technical expertise across a range of architectural technologies and methodologies.
- Analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve design issues effectively.
- Experience in hospitality projects is a plus but not essential.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
