Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £10 to £12.80 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience

Hello, I’m Kerry, the Nursery Manager at Ashby Nursery & Pre-School.

With over 16 years of experience in early years—starting my journey as a trainee—I’m passionate about creating environments where children feel valued, inspired, and confident to explore.

At Ashby, we have a strong bond with our local community and families, and we believe in nurturing each child’s natural curiosity and imagination. About the role:  
 
As an Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn.  Key activities include: 

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily 

• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions 

• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments 

About you:  
 

• A true love for child development and care 

• Able and willing to work in a team 

• Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents 

• High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity 

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework 

 

Must haves:  

• Early Years qualification at Level 3 or Level 2

• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
