Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza Terminal 4 is a dual brand hotel connected to terminal 4 via a covered walkway. It is directly connected to the underground, mainline and Elizabeth line. One side is the Holiday Inn London Heathrow Express featuring 457 bedrooms, an express bar and café, offering all-day dining with simple, honest food, and a lively bar. The other side is the upscale Crowne Plaza London- Heathrow Hotel with 304 elegant bedrooms, 13 suites and 4 high-tech meeting rooms. The hotel boasts a variety of exciting food and beverage outlets, including a Club Lounge and offers a 24-hour fitness studio. It has ample parking for both guests and employees
A bit about what you will do...
The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in assisting the Director of Finance as being part of the HOD Team in the absence of the Director of Finance to ensure that the hotel always has a management presence; and is responsible for all finance functions of the accounts departments in the hotel.
- Prepare timely monthly financial statements and review the trial balance in line with UK GAAP.
- Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly finance deadlines and processes are met.
- Produce weekly cash flow forecasts, P&L forecasts and variance analysis for Head Office.
- Lead annual budgeting in partnership with the General Manager and HODs.
- Reconcile bank accounts weekly, review balance sheet accounts and submit quarterly VAT returns to HMRC.
- Prepare statutory account working papers and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Support the Director of Finance in managing, training and developing the finance team.
- Lead weekly finance and payroll meetings, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-ups.
- Act as a business partner to departments, providing financial insight, forecasts and strategic support.
- Review financial controls and processes, driving improvements in efficiency and compliance.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with a high standard of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Most of all, you will have an approachable, positive, and proactive manner.
- Experience in a similar role within a 4-star hotel is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.
