Redress Model Manager
We’re working with a leading legal and advisory firm on a major regulatory remediation programme for a UK financial services client. As part of this delivery, we’re looking for a Redress Modelling Manager to lead the development and oversight of redress calculation models, ensuring compliance with regulatory methodology and consistency in approach.
This is a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension. The role will require hybrid working, with on-site presence in London three days per week.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the development of redress calculators used to assess customer outcomes and financial redress
- Applying regulatory methodology to financial models in line with remediation policy
- Validating and reviewing model accuracy across large datasets
- Ensuring consistency of treatment and calculations across customer segments
- Collaborating with actuarial, legal, and compliance stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong experience building or reviewing redress or compensation models in Excel
- Solid understanding of financial calculations, interest-based redress, or undisclosed commissions
- Experience working on regulatory remediation programmes (e.g. PPI, motor finance, or consumer credit)
- A background in actuarial analysis, financial modelling, or data-heavy QA roles
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, audit-ready approach
