We are working with a well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Putney that is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join their dedicated team. The school welcomes applications from experienced teachers as well as ECTs looking for a supportive environment to complete their induction.

The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for suitable candidates. You will play a key role in helping students develop strong numeracy skills and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with colleagues in the Maths department.
• Support extracurricular activities such as maths club, problem-solving workshops and numeracy competitions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds UK QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
• Has experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting or is an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive school.
• Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics and problem solving.
• Is committed to student progress, engagement, and high academic achievement.
• Has strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a love for learning.
