.Net Developer– Quant Trading

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a .Net Developer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well known quantitative proprietary trading firm, liquidity provider and market maker. They operate globally and are considered to be leaders in space. As a Windows Developer you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining tools and applications
• Operating system builds
• Software deployment
• Entire development life-cycle of each project

My client uses a number of different platforms and programming languages to devlop and maintain the trading environment. You will gain exposure to multiple parts of the business and will be expected to collaborate with others.

As a developer you will need:

• 3+ years’ experience developing in a .NET language
• WPF experience for GUI applications
• F# or functional programming experience
• Windows Services
• ASP.Net
• WebAPI
• An openness to learn other languages, particularly functional programming languages.
• MS SQL
• Powershell
• A knack for optimising code

This role suits a candidate who has had responsibility early on in their career, someone who has worked in smaller agile companies with continual change. You must be hands on and have excellent experience of working in a demanding or jack of all trades environment. You will also be a techie motivated by technology.
