Contract: 40hrs PW| £16.29ph | Global Travel Involved

Rocket Food is seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our specialist motorsport hospitality team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performance culinary brigade delivering exceptional food and service at global Formula 1 events.

In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you will work alongside our senior chefs to produce high-quality, nutritious meals for race teams, management, and VIP guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards under tight timelines and in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head Chef and senior kitchen team in producing food for all team and guest areas, including drivers, garage, and buffets.
  • Prepare and deliver a variety of dishes to meet dietary requirements and special requests.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of the kitchen and back of house spaces at each race, ensuring functionality and hygiene standards.
  • Work efficiently in a collaborative team to meet prep deadlines and maintain consistency under pressure.
  • Contribute ideas and input to menu development for each race and hospitality event.
  • Participate in shopping runs, stock checks, and inventory management as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and food safety practices at all times.
  • Assist with food preparation at Rocket HQ between races when required.
  • Help manage stock and spending in line with budgets set by the Head Chef.
  • Support logistics including packing rigs, loading the fridge truck, and assisting with setup and breakdown at each event.
  • Participate in out-of-season planning, logistics, and team development.
  • Contribute updates and learnings to the post-race documentation.
Team and Cultural Responsibilities:
  • Represent Rocket Food professionally at all times, both on and off the track.
  • Maintain high grooming and presentation standards throughout travel and events.
  • Act as a positive team player, supporting colleagues with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Help train and mentor new team members to uphold standards and consistency.
  • Work diligently and calmly in high-pressure, high-energy environments.
  • Demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and commitment to Rocket’s values and reputation.
  • Comply with all company policies, including social media and confidentiality expectations.
Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in a kitchen brigade at Chef de Partie level or similar.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional food, with strong attention to detail.
  • Calm and organised under pressure, with the ability to adapt to changing demands.
  • Confident in managing prep lists, working efficiently, and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Professional, polite, and personable, with excellent communication skills.
  • Willing to travel extensively and work long hours, including weekends.
  • Full driving licence preferred, with willingness to assist with transport logistics.
Why Join Rocket Food:

This is not a typical kitchen job. As part of our elite motorsport hospitality team, you will travel the world, be at the heart of the racing action, and deliver high-end culinary experiences in some of the most exciting environments imaginable. You will be part of a supportive, driven, and passionate team committed to excellence.
