This is a school where Science is highly valued, both academically and as a subject that helps students understand and engage with the world around them. The department is well-resourced, collaborative, and ambitious, with students who are curious, respectful, and eager to succeed.

The department has a strong culture of collaboration, with teachers regularly sharing ideas, resources, and best practice. There is also the opportunity to contribute to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, Science Week, competitions, intervention programmes, and educational visits.

Students are well-behaved, motivated, and respond positively to teachers who are supportive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about their subject.
