Overview

Join Strata Solicitors as a Paralegal and play a key role in defending litigated claims for some of the largest corporate and insurer clients. This remote-based role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, including personal injury, property damage, fraud, and more. You’ll work within a structured framework, ensuring compliance with client service agreements and delivering exceptional outcomes.

How you'll make an impact

  • Litigation Management: Handle a caseload of litigated defendant claims from issue to trial, including personal injury, large loss, property damage, credit hire, LVI, and fraud claims.
  • Assessment and Investigation: Assess coverage, liability, and quantum, and investigate the merits of third-party claims.
  • Negotiation: Conduct telephone and correspondence negotiations with third parties, insurers, and solicitors to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
  • Valuation: Value General and Special Damages accurately.
  • Compliance: Ensure full compliance with office protocols, client service level agreements, and key performance indicators. Maintain 100% data integrity on the case management system.
  • Team Support: Provide technical and procedural supervision to the litigation team and delegate tasks to Claims Administration Assistants.
  • Client Engagement: Liaise with key clients to strengthen relationships and support career development.
  • Secondment Opportunities: Act as a secondee to insurer and MGA clients as required.
About You

  • Experience handling RTA claims, EL/PL claims (including housing claims) within an insurer or TPA environment.
  • Demonstrable self-motivation and initiative.
  • Ability to work independently within a defined structure and collaborate effectively with peers and managers.
  • Strong communication skills.
