Compliance Manager - Housing (Permanent)
Pertemps Network Group are delighted to be assisting a well-established and reputable housing provider in London, for a Compliance Manager to deliver high-quality landlord services across a diverse housing portfolio, including social rent, shared ownership, and housing services. The organisation is committed to resident safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous service improvement, with a strong community focus and values-led approach.
Salary: Up to £52,700 per annum + excellent benefits
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
- Monitor, plan, and manage statutory compliance servicing programmes to ensure delivery within required timeframes and standards.
- Manage and oversee compliance contractors and suppliers, ensuring performance, quality, and value for money.
- Verify completed compliance works and carry out post-inspection audits to ensure contractual and regulatory requirements are met.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a robust compliance framework across the housing portfolio.
- Keep up to date with legislative , regulatory , and policy changes and advise senior management on implications for service delivery.
- Support the development and review of health & safety, compliance policies and procedures.
- Assist with budget monitoring , forecasting , and financial reporting relating to compliance activities.
- Extensive knowledge of statutory compliance within social housing , including key risk areas such as gas, water, asbestos, electrical, fire safety, and lifts/LOLER.
- Proven experience in a compliance, building safety, or risk management role within housing or a similar regulated environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legislation and implement practical, compliant solutions.
- Experience managing contractors and ensuring compliance with contractual and statutory obligations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to lead and embed compliance frameworks within a multi-disciplinary environment.
