What is the Discovery Programme?
This is no ordinary graduate scheme. It is a launchpad for future leaders. Over three years, you will rotate through key areas of our business — including Operations , Commercial , and Corporate Functions — gaining hands-on experience, strategic insight, and leadership skills that will set you apart and give you a broad platform to begin your career at Royal Mail.
You will:
- Learn how a £multibillion business operates by embedding in key areas
- Deliver high-impact projects that shape our future
- Collaborate with senior leaders and decision-makers
- Travel across the UK and work from our London HQ
- Take ownership and make a difference from day one

Who We are Looking For
We are looking for curious, driven individuals who are ready to lead and eager to learn. You will need:
- A 2:1 degree in any subject plus 3 A Levels at Grade B or above (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
- Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for making a difference
- A strong academic track record
- Initiative to achieve great results
- Have taken a leadership role or achieved great things beyond your studies
