Summary

This is a full-time role with a primary focus on supporting the Finance Manager in the day-to-day financial operations of the business. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the wider operations and marketing teams, playing a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our multi-site retail business.

Work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

  • Assist with weekly upload of supplier purchase orders and maintain supplier records
  • Support weekly cash counting procedures
  • Process Floom sales into Vector (our EPOS system)
  • Assist with scanning, coding and archiving invoices and receipts
  • Support receipt processing and general bank activity tracking
  • Contribute to data entry on the Accruals & Prepayments Tracker
  • Assist with client invoicing and the processing of HTA paper vouchers
  • Help with supplier payment run preparation and invoice coding in Dext (as needed)

  • risk assess the organisational impact of decisions that they take
  • use digital systems to identify productivity and performance improvements
  • use digital technologies to operate effectively as part of a team, and with other stakeholders, enabling sharing of information and best practice
  • maintain system security in line with organisational policies.
