Design & Technology Teacher – Modern, well-equipped and innovative comprehensive school – Barking
Our client is looking for an inspiring Design & Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking and modern comprehensive school in Barking. This is a full-time, permanent role starting January 2026.
• Design & Technology Teacher required full-time from January 2026

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential to teach GCSE and support extra-curricular design projects. The department fosters hands-on learning and encourages student exploration of materials, CAD software, and product design. Both experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Design & Technology Teacher with QTS or equivalent
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 DT, including resistant materials, product design or graphics
• Strong subject knowledge combined with practical skills and digital design experience
• Legal right to work in the UK
