Sports Coach

Sports Coach – Primary School Location: NW10, North West London Start Date: ASAP Contract: Part-Time, Monday–Friday Hours: 2:30pm–5:30pm A welcoming and supportive primary school based in NW10 is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Sports Coach to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for sport and working with children to gain valuable experience within a school environment. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and enjoyable sporting activities, helping pupils develop their physical skills, confidence, teamwork and positive attitudes towards exercise. About the Role As a Sports Coach, you will: * Plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate sports activities * Work with pupils across the primary age range * Encourage children to participate in physical activity and develop new skills * Promote teamwork, communication, confidence and positive behaviour * Support pupils of different abilities to take part and enjoy sporting activities * Create a safe, positive and inclusive environment * Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage their participation * Work closely with school staff to support pupils' wider development * Help supervise pupils during sports activities and after-school sessions * Contribute positively to the wider school environment What We're Looking For * Experience working with children in a school, sports or youth setting * A genuine passion for sport and physical activity * Confident and enthusiastic when working with children * Good communication and relationship-building skills * Ability to engage and motivate pupils * Strong behaviour management skills * Patient, positive and approachable * Reliable and able to commit to Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–5:30pm * Sports coaching qualifications or relevant experience would be advantageous * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What the School Offers * A welcoming and supportive school environment * Consistent Monday–Friday hours * Opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience * The chance to work closely with children and support their development * A positive and inclusive staff team * An opportunity for sports professionals to develop their experience within education This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Sports Coach looking to work within a primary school and make a positive impact on children's confidence, wellbeing and enjoyment of sport.
