You’ll support the Head Chef in running the kitchen with precision, organisation, and discipline, ensuring standards never slip and every service runs seamlessly. You’ll step up confidently in the Head Chef’s absence, take ownership of key kitchen operations, and play a vital role in coaching, developing, and motivating the team. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in high-volume, premium hospitality· Strong organisational skills: able to maintain a highly efficient kitchen· Excellent technical cooking skills and sound knowledge of kitchen operations· Leadership ability: able to coach, mentor, and develop others· Uncompromising commitment to hygiene, compliance, and food safety· Resilient under pressure, able to maintain discipline and calm in service· Good commercial awareness with an understanding of cost control and stock management· Ambitious and proactive, eager to grow into a future Head Chef role
