Trade & Shopper Marketing Internship

Ferrero
Greenford, Greater London

At Ferrero, we create globally loved brands that bring moments of joy to people of all ages. Joining our Trade Marketing Internship means becoming part of the UK Commercial team, helping to bring our brands to life in-store and drive performance across key retail customers.

This internship offers meaningful, hands-on experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. You will gain exposure across areas such as Category Development, Shopper Marketing and Commercial Planning, developing a broad understanding of how trade strategy translates into in-market execution.

You will be treated as an integral member of the team, contributing to real commercial priorities and gaining insight into how data, customer strategy and brand activation combine to deliver growth. Alongside day-to-day responsibilities, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and build a strong foundation in commercial operations.

As a Trade Marketing Intern, you will support a range of commercial and trade-focused activities, including:

  • Analysing sales and market data to identify trends, insights and performance opportunities.
  • Supporting the development of trade materials, sales tools and customer-facing presentations.
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of promotions, activations and in-store campaigns.
  • Contributing to reporting, data management and cross-functional commercial projects.

This role offers practical exposure to customer strategy, shopper behaviour, commercial planning and trade execution within a dynamic FMCG environment.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to learn, commercially curious, and eager to contribute within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.

You may be currently studying towards, or have recently completed, a degree-level qualification in Business, Marketing or a related discipline. Equivalent experience or alternative academic backgrounds with strong analytical capability are also welcomed. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • An interest in commercial strategy and the consumer goods sector

Experience with Power BI or other analytics tools would be beneficial but is not essential.

We value diverse perspectives and encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences.

Throughout your internship, you will receive structured support and development opportunities to help you build practical trade marketing skills and gain valuable insight into commercial excellence within a global organisation.

Please ensure that your application includes both your Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a Cover Letter. In your Cover Letter, we would love to understand what motivates you to apply for this internship and why you are interested in building your career within Finance or Marketing at Ferrero. We also welcome insight into the skills, experiences or perspectives you would bring to the team.

The deadline for applications is TBC

The selection process consists of three stages:
  1. Screening telephone interviews: March - April 2026
  2. Online testing: April 2026
  3. Assessment Centre: April - May 2026

The internship will commence on Tuesday 1st September 2026 and will run for 12 months. During this period, you will be required to work from our sites and offices as defined per role, as on-site presence is a key requirement of the programme.

Right to Work Requirement

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the 12 month internship at the time of application. This may include, for example, an unrestricted right to work or a visa that permits full time employment for the entire programme. In accordance with UK legislation, evidence of the right to work will be required before the internship begins.
