Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people from diverse backgrounds? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive SEN school in Lambeth.

This rewarding role offers the chance to work closely with pupils who have a variety of special needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN

• Assist in the development and delivery of tailored learning programmes

• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff

• Promote independence, inclusion, and emotional well-being

• Support students with personal care (where required)

• Monitor progress and contribute to pupil reports and reviews

• Create a safe, positive and engaging classroom environment

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with special needs is highly desirable

• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• An understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management

• A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
