Role Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and creative marketing executive to join the Community team at GB News. Working with the Acquisition Marketing Lead, this role will encapsulate all aspects of our marketing processes and channels for GB News membership. This role is an exciting opportunity to create video and written content as well as marketing campaigns through social, email, and newsletters.

Key Responsibilities

• Content creation: Record and edit compelling video content featuring GB News presenters and contributors to be published on our website.
• Email marketing: Assist with and produce acquisition marketing emails for our base of loyal registered users.
• Newsletters: Assist in producing and optimizing the large offering of GB News newsletters.
• Offers: Work on executing exclusive sign-up offers for new GB News members.
• Social strategy: Help build and implement an acquisition social media strategy for GB News membership.
• Acquisition analytics: Report and use data to inform and implement effective acquisition tactics/strategies.
• Collaboration: Work with editorial, product and analytics teams across marketing and content responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and driven - this is an exciting entry-level role with the opportunity to gain invaluable experience and grow within a rapidly expanding organistion.
• Knowledge of video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Excel in copywriting across marketing channels.
• Cross-functional communication skills.
• Creative, curious, and user-obsessed - with a passion for building meaningful audience relationships.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility – this role will include occasionally working irregular hours and up to one weekend per month.
