Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Brent, NW6 North West London
£110-£120 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support across the primary age range
- Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
- Help children access English, Maths and wider curriculum activities
- Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
- Adapt activities to suit individual learning levels
- Support communication, attention and classroom engagement
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive learning habits
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo
- Monitor progress towards individual targets
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience supporting children or young people
- Primary school, SEN or Learning Support experience is highly desirable
- Confident working with pupils individually and in small groups
- Patient, proactive and able to build strong relationships
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Psychology and Education graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Available full-time for a long-term position
