Temporary Housekeeper in Islington, Job ID J2157B
A lovely family based in Islington, London, is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to help maintain their private home to a high standard for a 12-month placement.
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of housekeeping experience and will speak fluent English. Someone reliable, organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing all general housekeeping duties would be ideal for this role.
The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the home. Duties will include floor care, dusting, polishing, bathroom cleaning, kitchen upkeep, laundry, ironing, bed making, linen changes, and dishware organisation.
No childcare duties will be required for this role, and a driver is not required.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 14:00
Duties include:
- maintaining the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the private home
- sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all floor surfaces
- dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and countertops
- cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs
- keeping the kitchen clean, wiped down, and organised
- managing daily laundry
- washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothing and linens
- making beds and changing bed sheets regularly
- washing, drying, and putting away dishes
- loading and unloading the dishwasher
The family is looking for someone who can start ASAP.
