Technical Officer

Chase Taylor Recruitment are looking for a Technical Officer who can confidently deliver expert guidance, represent the organisation in external forums, and support a vibrant community of professionals. - Providing expert technical advice and consultancy to a wide range of industry stakeholders.
- Responding to technical enquiries via helplines, site visits, and formal reports.
- Acting as a technical representative in high-profile industry meetings, regulatory bodies, and government forums.
- Supporting technical groups and committees, including preparing agendas and minutes.
- Promoting member engagement through events, networking, and regional support activities.
- Drafting technical articles and delivering expert content at trade shows and industry events.
- 5+ years’ experience in the glass and glazing industry
- Strong knowledge of fenestration glass products, testing processes, technical standards, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a strong customer-service approach.
- Confidence representing technical interests in public or committee settings.
- Strong ability to use computer systems
- This role comes with a vehicle
