If that sounds like you, keep reading.We’re working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Stepney that’s looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs across KS3 and KS4. This is a hands-on, rewarding role where your support genuinely makes a difference to a young person’s school day.The role: Supporting students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning needs Working 1:1 and in small groups within the classroom Helping students stay focused, regulated, and confident in lessons Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staff Being a consistent, positive presence throughout the school day What the school is looking for: Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or similar) A patient, calm, and encouraging approach Confidence working in a secondary school environment Someone reliable who understands the importance of consistency and boundariesEnhanced DBS on Update Service Why this school?
