Sen Teaching Assistant

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (PMLD / Complex Needs)
Contract: Full‑time, long‑term
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 - 3:30pm
Pay: Up to £130 per day Key Responsibilities: * Support pupils with PMLD and complex needs within the classroom * Assist with daily routines, sensory activities, and structured learning * Provide support tailored to individual EHCPs * Work alongside teachers and therapists to support pupil progress * Support communication through sensory approaches and alternative methods * Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required * Help maintain a calm, safe, and structured learning environment About You: * Experience working with PMLD and complex needs is essential * Must have previous experience working within an SEN or specialist school setting * Confident supporting pupils with a range of severe learning and physical needs * Calm, patient, and physically resilient * Able to work effectively in a team within a structured environment Why Join This Role? * Specialist SEN setting with strong support systems * Opportunity to work with highly experienced staff and therapists * Small class sizes and structured, needs‑based groups * Long‑term stability for the next academic year (Apply online only) * Rewarding role supporting pupils with complex needs
