What you will do * Undertake high-quality CAMHS triage and assessment work, ensuring the needs of children and young people are accurately identified and addressed.
* Complete detailed specialist mental health assessments to inform care planning and treatment.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive risk management plans.
* Offer expert consultation and advice to professionals and families involved in the care of young people.
* Manage complex cases within the assessment service, providing continuity and consistency of care.
* Develop and implement care and treatment plans based on individual assessments.
* Supervise Band 7 staff and assistants, fostering their professional development.
* Utilise clinical outcome and screening measures to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
* Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary CAMHS team, contributing diverse professional insights.
* Maintain accurate electronic clinical records to ensure continuity and quality of care.
* Support service development, audit and quality improvement initiatives, driving excellence in care.
