Primary Tutor with QTS

Make a Real Impact as a Primary Tutor.

Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised 1:1 support in Maths, History and Geography at KS2 Level. These in-person sessions in Stoke Newington offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

• Day(s) and Time(s): Monday - Friday
• Hour(s): Flexible
• Subject and Level: KS2 // Various Subjects

What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
• Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
• Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these
• Monitoring student progress and producing reports
• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
• Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
• Qualified Teacher Status is preferred
• Experience teaching withing schools is preferred
• Knowlegde of KS2 Curriculum across all subjects
• An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The right to be self employed in the UK
