About StrideUp

StrideUp is leading a new era of values-driven finance. Ranked the 5th fastest growing fintech in the UK and Ireland in 2025, we have already deployed hundreds of millions in property finance, supporting people in achieving their financial goals.

What makes us different is how we combine purpose with performance. We began with home finance, creating a shariah-compliant alternative trusted by the Muslim community and welcomed by anyone seeking fairer, more transparent products. This product-market fit has powered our growth, and is only the beginning. Our vision is bigger; to expand our offering and build a financial institution that opens doors for communities often left behind.

Joining StrideUp means being part of a high-performing, values-driven team at the most exciting point in our journey. We have proven success behind us and huge opportunity ahead, and now we are ready to build beyond. Are you?

StrideUp is backed by leading VC and private equity investors, having raised over £30m in funding.

The Role
We are seeking a CeMap qualified Mortgage Adviser with a minimum of 2 years' experience who is eager to pivot into Islamic Finance. This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering financial services provider in the Islamic finance sector. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of the mortgage market with a genuine passion for delivering Shariah-compliant solutions to our customers.

A strong background in Buy-to-Let (BTL) financing is particularly important for this role. You will be expected to assist our clients confidently on complex BTL scenarios including but not limited to; Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), Multi-Unit Blocks (MUBs) & portfolio landlords. This experience will be vital in helping us serve a diverse and growing client base with tailored, strategic financing solutions.

As part of our team, you will guide clients through their journey, from selecting the right product to completing their financing, ensuring a seamless and values-aligned experience.

You Are

 • A Trustworthy Guide: An empathetic communicator who enjoys simplifying complex financial concepts to help clients make confident, well-informed decisions.
 • Tenacious and Goal-Oriented: A self-starter who is energised by hitting targets and possesses the drive to see every case through to completion.
 • An Accountable Owner: Someone who takes personal pride in the entire client journey, proactively managing the middle ground between departments to ensure a seamless experience.
 • Diligently Compliant: Naturally meticulous, you understand that regulatory rigour and accuracy are the foundation of great advice, rather than just a tick-box exercise.
 • A Collaborative Teammate: A professional who thrives in a team environment, valuing the expertise of underwriters and sales colleagues to achieve the best outcome for the firm.

What You'll Do

 • Home Purchase Plan Advice: Provide expert guidance on StrideUp's Home Purchase Plans (HPP) and Buy-to-Let Purchase Plans (BTLPP), tailored to individual client needs.
 • Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed set targets for applications, offers, and completed cases.
 • Client Journey Management: Manage the financing process from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring clients feel informed and supported at every stage.
 • Compliance & Integrity: Ensure all advice and processes comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
 • Customer-Centric Approach: Deliver an outstanding customer experience, addressing client concerns promptly and fostering trust and satisfaction.
 • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including intermediary Sales, compliance, underwriting, and technology, to deliver optimal outcomes for clients.

Requirements

 • Relevant qualification to provide mortgage advice in the UK (e.g., CeMAP / Certificate in Mortgage Advice).
 • 2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Adviser, with a strong understanding of mortgage products and regulatory requirements.
 • Extensive Buy-to-Let (BTL) financing experience, with the ability to handle a variety of cases including (but not limited to); Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), Multi-Unit Blocks (MUBs) & Portfolio landlords.
 • Passion for Islamic finance and a desire to help customers achieve financial parity through Shariah-compliant solutions.
 • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused and results-driven mindset.
 • Ability to manage multiple clients and cases]]>
